19TH CENTURY NEOCLASSICAL-STYLE SILVER-PLATED TEA / HOT WATER URN, possibly old Sheffield plate, having a chamfered urn-form well having double loop handles, reeded border along the top, griffin head engraving to front and a shield to back, long spigot with bone handle, raised on a pedestal base with four short feet, topped by the original cover and interior fitted with cylindrical heating insert. Unmarked. 19th century. 21 1/4" HOA.
Good to very good overall condition with some wear and surface scratches, losses to silver on exterior, handles slightly bent making it difficult to take off cover, a few scattered minor dents.
