Description
A Romano-Egyptian head and neck of a woman, late 2nd Century AD, with complex hairstyle, the rear hair rising higher than the front series of waves. The face is nicely molded with good style, large holes to either side for earrings, likely in another substance. H: 2 5/8 in (6.7 cm). Light deposits, age cracks. Ex Southern California private collection.
