Full margins, as issued. Fine impression with vivid colors. Fine condition. Provenance: From the library of the London gallerist and bookseller Anton Zwemmer (1892–1979), a publisher of the work. Comment(s): Authorized by and printed under the supervision and participation of Braque, four years before his death. Braque applied a complimentary signature to a number of H.C. impressions of this print. The auction record for a pochoir (“Nature morte”) of approximately the same size as our example is SF8,400 ($6,737) realized at Galerie Koller, Zurich, 6/23/2006, lot #Z20/3.
