Charles (Doc) Joyce, or Winchester Mass. Lot is accompanied by numerous photo print outs and information detailing his heroic acts as B-29 pilot of the "Raiden Maiden", 793rd Squadron, 468th Bombardment Group, 20th Bomber Command. His nickname "Doc" was given for his ability to get badly damaged aircraft safely down - details relaying how he landed a B-29 dead stick after running out of fuel from 10,000 feet is in the paperwork.
