Includes a late 19th century brass mounted men's travel dressing case of Palisander wood with fitted interior of leather and blue velvet containing (10) monogrammed vanity jar of various shapes and sizes, and one brush - monogrammed cartouche to lid of case; missing one item; (6) vanity jar with London city stamps, George Reid, 1836. Accompanied by a wonderful fitted ladies' travel case including (1) sterling mounted ink blotter, inkwell, sterling fountain pen with assorted nibs; a sterling seal stamp of "M"; (3) wax sticks; a sterling mounted rectangular vanity jar; a sterling pencil; a miniature sterling chamberstick; a sterling mounted letter opener; and a sterling mounted file. Total approx. weight of English silver is 5.65 troy oz (gross); total approx. weight of weighable sterling is 0.80 troy oz (gross). From a Bronxville, NY estate.
