Seymour Lash (American, 1925-2011). A large cased model cargo ship "American Scout", modeled after the original boat constructed in 1945 and 1946. Marked to the stern "American Scout, New York". Approx: h. 18.5", w. 12.5", d. 54.5". Note: The SS American Scout was a C-2 style transport ship of the American States Line. She had and five cargo holds and an overall length of 459' Having served past World War Two being beached and abandoned in 1969. Approx. in the case h. 18.5",w. 54.5", d. 12.75".
