Description
A trio of ceramic vessels from the Holy Land. The first is a red-slipped bowl, Middle Bronze Age I, c. 3100 - 2900 BC, with rounded sides and indented bottom, a horizontally aligned pierced lug handle at side, 7 1/2 x 3 in (19 x 7.6 cm), the other two are Late Bronze Age ceramic bowls, c. 1550 - 1200 BC, the first with a small flared pedestal foot, pronounced shoulders and a flared rim, 4 1/4 x 6 in (10.4 x 15.2 cm), the second a shallow bowl with preserved deep red slip and a narrow pad foot, 2 3/8 x 7 3/4 in (6 x 19.7 cm). Ex Baron collection, Southern California.
