Description
Made by the Polyphon Musikwerke in Germany. It was imported by Regina Music Box Company in 1903 and sold at the Polyphone Concerto to hotel and tavern suppliers. Spring motor drives a 32" steel disc which plays a piano, two drums and one cymbal. It is coin operated. Two piece cabinet with original finish measures 112.5" tall including an 11" removable gallery, 45" wide and 24" deep. Lower cabinet has pull out door for disc storage. Disc included. There are only a few of these boxes known in the United States and this is perfect for the advanced collector. Plays well but hasn't been tuned for 40 years.
