(MGM, 1972) A scarce one sheet poster for the science fiction classic Forbidden Planet, starring Robby the Robot. This poster was used to promote MGM Children's Matinees, a series of screenings between 1970 and 1972 that attempted to draw in younger audiences through new trailers and targeted advertising. The results were rare specialty posters such as this. Measuring 41"x27", the poster is in good condition overall with some wear along the original fold lines, including a few very small tears at the intersection points of the fold lines.
