Description
Six gem tintypes of soldiers identified as likely members of the 208th Pennsylvania Infantry. Tintypes are all mounted on card stock with photographer’s label on verso “From the New Gem Gallery No. 69 King Street, Alexandria, VA. Seely & Murphy, Proprietors.” Accompanying lot is a typed letter explaining the provenance of the images and possible identification of D.B Hohenschildt of the 133rd and 208th PA.
