Berman, Morris (American, 1910-2002), Civic Arena with Roof retracted View of Downtown and Nocturnal View of The Civic Arena, 1960's, gelatin silver prints, 13 x 9.5 inches and the reverse, with the photographer's estate stamp on the reverse, framed measuring 17.5 x 14 inches, While working for The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in 1964, Mr. Berman took one of the most iconic sports photos of all time. The photo of Y.A. Tittle, the Giants' quarterback bloodied wit his helmet off, in the end zone after he was sacked by John Baker of the Steelers in what became the last game of Tittle's career.
Condition
in good condition apart from the interior photo has a small tear in the mid right extending into the picture for approximately 3/4 of an inch.
