LOT: 2040 – Francisco Vargas (New Orleans), "African American Female Cotton Picker," early 20th c. Condition is consistent with age and use. The cotton bag has become unglued from the wood base. The cotton topping of the bag has also become unglued from the bag. This seems to be a relatively easy repair. The figure is in good condition, other than her left arm is missing.
