Title: Buddy L "Outdoor" Model TrainProvenance: This set was purchased at an estate auction of a train collector. Included are 3 locomotives, a 963 model which is on the track, having no motor, another one which may be earlier than the others because it has a wooden barrel, and a 3rd one which is missing a few parts and has a good sized but repairable dent in the cab. The wooden barrel locomotive has 2 motors. The third one has no motor, is missing parts and has a large dent in the cab. These 2 may or may not be Buddy L but are included. Also, a coal tender, 4 flat beds (stacked doubles due to lack of space), box car, cattle car, coal car, and caboose. 60 feet of track all impressed Bethlehem Steel Co. Buddy L., 44 feet of straight track and 16 feet of curved. Each track section is 4 feet long and 6 1/2" wide. As seen the train measures over 15 feet long. Considering this train is from the 1920's and the outdoor setting it operated in, the condition is good. The pictures tell the story on paint. Most of the car's paint is very old repaint but some have been painted again and are pretty good. Almost all of the connectors are missing and one door on the cattle car is gone. But it looks great when laid out as shown in the pictures even though it is on the floor and difficult to shoot. The locomotives measure 25" long and the set is very heavy. Would have to be shipped in multiple cartons. Shipping is an estimate, if less than it will be refunded.
