A war era Buddy L pressed steel US Mail Truck #2592 from the 1940s, missing the white roof piece. The sides have strong decals that read Buy Defense Bonds and 2592 U.S. Mail across the bottom. The driver side decals show some scratches and the passenger side decal shows moderate wear at the top edge. All six tires are stamped Buddy L Toys East Moline Illinois. The truck measures 21" long x 9 1/4" tall. The body shows moderate paint loss and wear on the roof, scratches, chipped paint along edges, and general signs of use.
