Late 19th Century, Eugen Jettel (Austrian/Czech, 1845-1901) "Kuchen Garten" Gouache. Beautiful scene, signed lower left "Eugene Jettel" Paris, Dated 1896. Measurements - 25 1/2" wide x 17 1/4" high, total with frame - 24" high x 32" wide. Eugen Jettel was a landscape painter who began his art studies by entering the Vienna Academy. Jettel was nominated as a jury-member of the 1889 World Fair in Paris and received a knighthood of the French Légion d'honneur as well as numerous other awards.
