For your consideration is this Remington art portfolio featuring great hunting dogs by Bob Kuhn. Bob Kuhn (1920-2007) is an American artist born in Buffalo, New York and is known for his extraordinary depictions of wildlife. Kuhn traveled the world for inspiration and had a love of African and later North American wildlife. The collection consists of twelve full color prints depicting some of the great hunting dogs. The prints show scenes of the dogs during a hunt or displaying the dog with information on its history. The pieces are titled; "Up Too Early", Large Hounds, "Sounding Off", Short-haired Pointing dogs, Setters, Retrievers, "My Turn Next", "Point of Honor", Small Hounds, "First Time Around", "First Down", and finally Spaniels. The prints show wonderful attention to detail and excellent art style. The set of prints come with a paper art portfolio with the image of a golden retriever with a duck next to it. The front of the portfolio is marked "Remington's Portfolio of Great Hunting Dogs. The collection shows good condition overall with some light wear on the portfolio. The measurements of this portfolio are 12 1/4" x 16 1/2" and the art measures 7 3/4" x 12 1/2".
