ITALIA GRAND TOUR ALBUM TAORMINA, SICILY.
Original album of 28 gelatin silver prints of Taormina, Sicily by various photographers; Wilhelm Von Gloeden (1856-1931), Giovanni Crupi (1859-1925), Guiseppe Bruno (1836-1904), Taormina Sicily circa 1900.
Oblong folio, 25 leaves gilt decorated, vellum binding ornate gilt decoration, titled ITALIA.
Twenty-eight photos of Taormina mounted to rectos (two leaves with 2 photos each, one photo additionally on verso).
Dimensions: most approximately 6 3/4 in. x 9 in.
Highlights include Wilhelm Von Gloeden Image of Naked Fisher Boy including four classic portraits.
Photographers Guiseppe Bruno & Giovanni Crupi images of landscapes with figures, seascapes, peasants, children, musicians etc.
Many photos are annotated in pencil, titled and numbered in plate.
