Russian hand-painted lacquer boxes, the larger depicting a scene from the Russian fairy tale "Vasilisa the Beautiful," made in Palekh, artist-initialed "CC," the underside with a firebird and inscription "From Russia with love," the smaller depicting "Ruslan and Ludmila," made in Palekh, artist-initialed CM. Larger: 1.5" H x 4" W x 5.5" D.
