Grover & Frances Cleveland, Pair Signed "Executive Mansion. Washington" Cards, PSA Slabbed & Graded Mint 9 & NM-MT 8
A pair of White House cards, the first signed by 22nd and 24th U.S. President Grover Cleveland (1837-1908) as "Grover Cleveland"; and the second signed by First Lady Frances Cleveland (1864-1947) as "Frances Cleveland". Each card is embossed "Executive Mansion. / Washington" at top center. President Cleveland's card is PSA slabbed and graded Mint 9 while the First Lady's is slabbed and graded NM-MT 8. President Cleveland's card shows some isolated stains and is mounted on a paper backing. The "F" of "Frances" is slightly smeared recto, and there are minor mounting traces verso. Else near fine. Each slab measures 7.125" x 4.125".
Grover Cleveland was the only president to have served two non-consecutive terms, the first between 1885-1889, and the second between 1893-1897. Frances Cleveland still holds the record as the youngest First Lady to ever grace the White House (age 21).
A perfect addition to your collection of presidential memorabilia--his and her autographed White House cards!
