The bone sticks intricately carved with figures and embellished with parcel gilt, the silk with a rococo scene of two young ladies and a gentleman frolicking in a landscape, the scene surrounded by painted, embroidered and sequined decoration, including flowers and insects. Housed in a shadowbox with a 19th C. gilt gesso frame. Fan with tears, minor losses to sticks. Gilt frame with losses and repairs. Approx. 21" x 13 1/2" .
