A soapstone carving of a Chinese or West-Asian deity, perhaps Nu Gua or Devi, seated in a lotus pose on a half circle plinth with hands in her lap, serpents coiling around her neck and arms, with a smaller head taking sustenance atop her and a third face in the drapery between her legs.
