⁂ Single sheet newspaper with one side devoted solely to the engraving and accompanying lengthy description of the island's history, geography, climate and economy, and mentioning Napoleon's captivity there.
Rare, a similar item is mentioned on RBH in a 1953 Maggs catalogue, though that was a leaf of text accompanying 4 aquatint views and was dated November 1st, 1815, presumably therefore a reprint of this, the original as it appeared in The Observer a month earlier. Another broadside from 1815 under the same title has text in 2 columns and a coloured aquatint view.
