Riveting Qing dynasty official ChenXiang wood-bead necklace (ChaoZhu). Comprised of One-Hundred-eight well-strung beads that are separated into groupings of twenty-seven, by four larger tourmaline beads. Three Jinian strands having ten beads each dangle from the piece supporting garden-egg shaped tourmaline stones. The center is a Fotou connecting to a knotted ribbon which suspends an oval-shaped tourmaline stone encapsulated in gilt-work. Masterful work can be seen throughout the minute details.
