Description
Rare cast brass figurine, depicting an an Native American chief posing in typical attire with a spear: eagle feathers crown, and chief pectoral with a star. It stands on wooden pedestal with marquetry decoration upfront. Most likely used as a door stopper as it is one-sided and flat and hollow on the back. Very elaborated details. Anglo-American, early to mid 19th century.
Measurements: Approx. 12" tall, 4.5" x 3.25" base overall, the brass figurine only is 8.5" tall without the spear. Weigh 2 lbs. 10 oz.

Very good overall. The spare is likely an wooden replacement. Great patina developed over time.
