Description
Rare cast brass figurine, depicting an Native American chief posing in typical attire with a spear: eagle feathers crown, bear skin cape, tomahawk on the belt. Most likely used as a door stopper as it is one-sided, flat and hollow on the back. Very elaborated details, individualized face with calm but still dramatic expression. Anglo-American, early to mid 19th century.
Measurements: Approx. 8.25" tall, 5" x 2.5" the base

Condition
Very good overall. Original red paint remains on the spear. Great patina developed over time.
