Estate-Found Group of Abraham Lincoln Related items including: An invitation from the Governor and State of Illinois and the President of the United States of America to the dedication ceremony of the remodeling of Abraham Lincoln's Tomb in Springfield. on June 17th 1931. It includes a print of Herbert Hoover, and the Remodeled Tomb. Together with A Program for the Unveiling of the Lincoln Monument Van Horn Bequest in Newark New Jersey on May 30th 1911. This has a print of the bronze prior to its installation at the Essex Courthouse in Newark. The statue is by Gutzon Borglum, and was dedicated by President Theodore Roosevelt. Also included is a folded paper souvenir of Lincoln's Tomb, Inscribed to George Adsit in 1934 with a piece of wood from Lincoln's Springfield Home, and a Leaf from Lincoln's Tomb. It bears the impressed mark of H. W. Fay Custodian Lincolns Tomb, Springfield Illinois. There is also a black and white print of the tomb with the same mark. All pieces in good condition with some age toning, foxing, etc. Largest dimensions: 10" x 7.5"
