Roman Imperial coinage > Aurelian, 270-275 AD: AE Antoninianus (19.5 x 20.5mm, 3.55g), struck 272-274 AD at Mediolanum (Milan) mint; radiate, cuirassed bust facing right (tall neck) & legend AVRELIANVS AVG / Sol standing at right, head facing left, holding globe in his left hand & his right hand raised above a bound captive at his feet, on left & legend ORIENS AVG + mintmark T in exergue. References: RIC VI 248, Cohen 141, Sear 11564; Mint State, nearly centered & sharply struck with good details (beard, cuirasse, hairline, Sol's body) + bright luster; coin alignment.
