Production Description: Fully articulating hero Asgard puppet portraying Thor and numerous other Asgard throughout the most recent years of Stargate SG-1 and the Stargate Atlantis Season Five two-parter, "First Contact" and "The Lost Tribe." This was the final version of the Asgard puppet to be created by the Stargate special effects team. The puppet still features the detailing applied to its body for the two-parter. Pieces can be removed.
Technical Description: Production made animatronic puppet of an alien being, the puppet's skin is light tan silicone rubber with blue and red veins throughout, the eyes are black plastic globes, plastic teeth are visible through the lips, the hands have plastic fingernails, on the forehead and chest are gold plastic plates with blue plastic jewels. Inside is an articulated structure, the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, legs, and knees all have poseable joints. A bicycle brake cable with brake handle extends from the back of the elbow joint, the wrist bends when the brake handle is pressed. On the back of the puppet is a metal mounting pole and several wires and tubes of unknown function. The puppet comes with three radio control devices, one is labeled "MOUTH LIPS JAW", the second is labeled "EYE BLINK", and the third is labeled "BACK-UP TRANSMITTER + RECEIVER MASTERS FX". The puppet also comes with parts and accessories used to operate the puppet including: re-chargeable batteries with charger, metal and wooden poles, power strips, three air bellows, and various other parts and tools. The puppet comes inside of a black wooden crate with a black interior padded lining shaped like the puppet and a foam rubber sheet between the puppet and the lid. Also with the puppet is a second black wooden crate housing the puppet's operating parts and tools. Puppet measures approx. 21in x 48in x 8.5in, each crate measures approx. 66.75in x 28in x 13.75in.
