An incredible piece of Hollywood and Pop Culture history, a "Madame" puppet created and used by Wayland Flowers, comprised of a hand-painted composite head with articulated mouth, dressed in an elaborate beaded, jeweled, and sequined top with sheen gown and rhinestone earrings, necklace, and intricately faux-pearl breaded hair. This puppet was originally acquired directly from Wayland Flowers at the Pilgrim House in Provincetown, Massachusetts early in his career. It was then gifted from the recipient to the current owner. This puppet was most recently featured on PBS' "Antiques Roadshow", Season 26, episode Omni Mount Washington Resort, Hour 1 (#2607). This puppet is accompanied by a VHS of Wayland Flowers using this puppet, notarized letter about the history of the puppet written by the owner, a postcard, and photographs of Wayland Flowers and the consignor with his puppet. An unbelievable opportunity for prop collectors today.

Overall good condition with wear as expected of age and use, composite head with cracking and small scattered areas of paint loss, clothes in overall good condition with minor wear, please refer to photographs.
