Pair of Continental Silver Candelabra
second quarter 19th century, unmarked but probably .800 silver, in the neoclassical taste, with a Corinthian column standard above a waisted plinth and rococo base, surmounted by a detachable superstructure with standard en suite and hippocampi and Vitruvian scroll branches, each terminating in a rococo drip-pan and gadrooned vasiform nozzle.
