Description
DESCRIPTION: Four French historic port hand-colored engravings. From the "Collection des Prospects" series. Includes 1) "Batavia, la Ville Capital des Hollandais" by Johann Baptiste Bergmüller. Circa 1780. 2) "St. Eustach Une Des Isles D'Antilles" by Johann Baptist Bergmüller. 1781. 3) "Vue du Port de Cadix vers l'Occident" by Balth Frederic Leizelt. Circa 1770. 4) " Vue d' un Cote du Jardin Royale a Neaple". German School. Circa 1780. Each lacquered and framed. MEASUREMENTS: Largest: Sight 12-5/8" x 17". Overall with frame 15-1/2" x 19-7/8". CONDITION: Batavia with vertical crease line at center. St. Eustache and Cadix with repaired tears. Neaple with loss to upper right corner. Not examined outside of frames.
