Original blindstamped boards, rebacked and lettered in gilt, some occasional light foxing (heaviest to title and first few leaves) though in all a clean and fresh copy. Very Good. *********************** Senate issue, which is a revised and enlarged version of Stevens' narrative first published in octavo format in 1855. Beautifully illustrated by the expedition's artist, John Stanley.
