Oil on masonite, signed lower right and signed and titled "Fisherman's Church" verso. Painter, New York, N.Y. Samuel David Lev-Landau was born in Warsaw, Poland and emigrated to the United States. Trained at the Graphic Sketch Club, Philadelphia and studied with Sol Wilson and Phil Reisman. Worked primarily in oil and casein. Dimensions: (Frame) H 20" x W 24", (Painting) H 11.5" x W 15.5" Condition: Very light crackling in the sky, frame with rubbing. 83
