All the Wolf Kahn works in this auction were bought by Rabbi Jonathan Levine through the Grace Borgenicht gallery, in the last quarter of the 20th century.Wolf Kahn was alive at this time, and one of the works (the Farm on the Flood Plains, 1988 print) is hand inscribed to Jonathan Levine by Wolf Kahn (lot 149).
Some of the works have notations mentioning Grace Borgenicht Gallery, and some have labels.David Killen Gallery is guaranteeing the authenticity of all of the Wolf Kahn works.There are seven Wolf Kahn works in the sale, one large oil on canvas painting(lot 85), five pastels(lots 47, 48, 55,74,and 80) and one numbered print (lot 149).
