Antique Chinese rug from the 19th-early 20th century, cotton warp with wool knotted pile and cotton and wool weft insertions. Beige background with several shades of blue on border and a pictorial design, which includes pagodas, bridges, rivers, boats, and trees. Border features repeated Shou-character motif; artist signature in upper right corner Ren Ji.

Dimensions are: 85 inches wide X 112 3/4 inches long, approximately 18 warp knots per inch. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Extensive wear and tear to both pile and foundational weave, worn through in a few areas.
