Description
A Chinese famille rose porcelain vase dating from the Republic period. The vase has a 4-character mark on the bottom and depicts scholar's items, birds, flowers and an 8-character inscription with a bat on the reverse.
Dimensions are: 14 inches tall X 5 1/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Several chips to the base, overall good.
Provenance: From Mrs. Lin of Honolulu, HI, by descent from her parents, who brought their collection to Hawaii from China prior to 1952. Items from the same collector were sold at our Fine Asian Art & Antiques auctions, September 2019.
