He studied at the Detroit Society of Arts & Crafts, with Samuel Halpert, John Carroll.His work has been exhibited at the Detroit Institute of Art, from 1933-45 (prize, 1944); As well as at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, 1934; Art Institute of Chicago 1936, 1938; Corcoran Gal, 1937-41 1947; Friends Mod.
