After Emile Louis Picault (1833-1915), "Le Génie Humain," 19th c., bronze patinated spelter, titled in relief front center base, signed proper left of base, verso with an applied button "Fabrique Francais, Paris, Made in France," presented on a stepped highly figured gray marble base, H.- 29 1/2 in., W.- 10 in., D.- 12 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age. No breaks or repairs. Patinatination wearing on some high points. Showing spelter on wings and one knee. A charming example.
