Three paintings of Bernard ''Brownie'' Carslake during his Austro Hungrian racing career pre WWI the first of Carslake wearing red and white silks mounted on horseback, oil on paper laid on board by Richard Benno Adams, dated 1907 and signed lower left margin and inscribed ''Ka banqute?'' lower right margin, 30 x 37.8 cm; the second of Carslake wearing white and red silks mounted on horseback, oil on canvas by C T Bauer, signed lower right and inscribed ''Fitina'' lower left, in an ebonised frame, 56 x 69.5 cm, canvas slightly stuck with glazing in centre and a watercolour of Carslake mounted on Starlight, inscribed ''Winner of the Hungarian Derby 1931 Budapest'', artists monogram lwer right, dated 1931, glazed and framed, 30.4 x 38.9 cm, some foxing, (3) Bernard ''Brownie'' Carslake Collection (Australian born jockey, 1866-1941).
