Description
This wonderful 10.5” cloth little girl doll with her Raggedy Ann is “Easter Sunday” made by well known doll artist Frances Diecks Ravca and dated 1974. She has a hard head, covered with stockinette and painted, with curly black hair. She wears a nylon dotted Swiss dress with puffed sleeves and a nylon pinafore. Underneath she has a cotton eyelet petticoat and panties, white tights and white vinyl shoes. Her clothing is not removable. In one hand she carries a pink flower, and in the other, her cloth Raggedy Ann doll with painted features and yarn hair. The little girl has Frances Ravca’s woven tag stitched to the back of her panties, and Raggedy Ann has a wrist tag as well. From the collection of the late Ann Hastings. A wonderful pair of dolls from a great 20th century doll artist!
