Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Country Joe & the Fish, and the Loading Zone at the Fillmore, Feb. 5, 1966. 28x18 cm (11x7"). Light toning, faint crease; very good or better. The Birdweed Press 1966.
The Doors, The Young Rascals, and The Sopwith Camel at the Fillmore, January 6 and 7, 1967. Artist: Wes Wilson. Light wear and soiling, a few areas of loss to color at edges, toning to backside; very good. 20x12 cm (8x4¾"). 1967.
The 1967 handbill marks the first time The Doors played the Fillmore. The packed crowd was dumbfounded by the music, and the love affair between the band and San Francisco was born. Artist Wes Wilson pioneered the psychedelic rock poster.
