Description
6th-8th century AD. A mixed group of bronze belt buckles comprising: one with circular loop and recessed tongue-rest. openwork heart-shaped plaque with central hole to accept the tongue, fleur-de-lys and hatched inner rim; one hinged with scooped loop and recessed tongue-rest, narrow plaque with lateral hooks and loops, heart-shaped finial with trefoil void; one similar with short plaque formed of comma-shaped scrolls.
