Wrought iron hammer poll tomahawk, ca. second half 18th c. Early tag reads “Tomahawk found Greer county, Okla. 1910 in a buffalo skull." Greer County was part of Texas until 1896 and was at that time Kiowa and Comanche hunting grounds. Dimensions: Height: 5 1/4 in x width: 1 in x depth: 2 in.
