A rare man's vest with anthropomorphic figures, cotton ground decorated with mother-of-pearl platelets, glass beads and bells. The back neckline decorated triangular pattern called "pakpak" (eagle wing), early 20th c, Bilaan people, Mindanao, Philippines. And a Woman's blouse, "albong", blue commercial cotton, decorated with mother-of-pearl platelets, back neckline decorated "pakpak" (eagle wing) pattern, mid 20th c. or earlier, Bagobo or Bilaan, Mindanao; Size 1: 15" x 44". Size 2: 15" x 47".
