Description
DESCRIPTION: A Ferdinand Barbedienne (French, 1810-1892) bronze sculpture depicting Moses seated with tablets to his right hand side. After Michaelangelo's original work. Signed "F. BARBEDIENNE. FONDEUR." to side of bronze. Holds stamp to back of bronze 'A COLLAS / REDUCTION MECANIQUE' seal. Note: A similar work sold at Christie's London, on 18 September 2014 for GBP 3,500.
