Antique, 19th Century Ferdinand Barbedienne (French 1810-1892) Bronze & Red Marble Candelabras. Electrified, bronze crane finials. Depicting bronze women on red marble bases. Measures 45" high to top of finial, 13 1/2" wide x 12" high bronzes. Signed with foundry mark. Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810-1892), was a highly important and prolific bronze founder of one of the most important French art foundries. He pioneered the use of mounts and, more commonly, bronze sculpture including figures and animals.
