Description
This is a rare and fascinating ancient terracotta clay relic from the kOMALAND culture, present day Ghana, Africa. The Komaland culture is mysterious and not much is known other than the clay idols that are unearthed by farmers and villagers in the region. This abstract idol features a wide conical head , large eyes and nose , with a depression on top suggesting use as a ritual object. The statue measures 7.5 inches tall (9 inches tall on custom display stand.) All items legal to buy/sell under U.S. Statute covering cultural patrimony Code 2600, CHAPTER 14.
