Good Things Come in Twos: Four Prints of Children in Fashion
Four vintage gelatin silver prints, 1952-1959, three annotated in pencil verso in an unknown hand, each on gloss photographic paper, each with margins, various sizes, the largest sheet 510 x 408 (20 x 16in) (unframed) (4)
In order of sequence, the first two for Vogues December 1959 fashion editorials, the Guinness twins: Sabrina and Miranda Guinness pose for Fortnum & Mason; the Wolheim twins: Rupert and Bruno Wolheim pose for Harvey Nichols. The second two photographs, Parkinson photographs members of the British Royal family for Vogue, Lord Hartington and Lady Emma Cavendish at Chatsworth House in 1952; Charles Alexander Vaughan Earl of Uxbridge and Lady Henrietta Charlotte Eiluned Paget at Plas Newydd Llangollen, Wales.

Gifted directly from the artist to Williams, who was an assistant to Norman Parkinson during the time his studio was based in Twickenham, London.
