This lot consists of two fine art prints in vertical order, framed under two-sided glass and done in the style of Banksy (British, 1974 - ). Piece includes two ten-pound "Banksy of England" notes bearing the likeness of Diana, Princess of Wales, rather than the usual likeness of the current reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. Subversive design elements abound, to be noted in lines such as "TRUST NO ONE" and "DI-FACED CURRENCY". This pair of framed printed images strike the dissonant, rebellious chord for which Banksy's art is so well known. Overall, the framed piece measures approximately 11.25" x 10.25". Image sight of the ten-pound notes measures approximately 5.25" x 2.75".

Banksy is an anonymous England-based street artist, vandal, political activist, and film director, active since the 1990s. His satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humour with graffiti executed in a distinctive stenciling technique. His works of political and social commentary have been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world. Banksy's work grew out of the Bristol underground scene, which involved collaborations between artists and musicians. Banksy says that he was inspired by 3D, a graffiti artist who later became a founding member of the English musical group Massive Attack.
