This lot consists of an acrylic painting on stretched canvas. Done in the free-form abstract style of Jean-Michel Basquiat (American, 1960-1988). Rich with narrative imagery and explosions of color, the viewer quickly becomes absorbed in the artist's sweeping, expressive strokes. A testament to the vibrancy and raw talent associated with the elusive 20th century painter, Jean-Michel Basquiat. A large three-pointed crown adorns the piece at top right, along with "Samo" and a small copyright symbol. Reverse side of canvas features further inscriptions, including another three-pointed crown, the initials "JMB", and the words, "NEW YORK".

A striking highlight to any collection. Overall, this unframed piece measures approximately 18" x 24".
